Pyyrah Company Print and Digital Advertising Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
- Advertiser: Any individual or entity booking advertising space in a Pyyrah publication (advertising agency, brand owner, etc.).
- Advertising Content: Promotional material, including sales promotions, provided by the Advertiser for publication.
- Pyyrah: Pyyrah Company, responsible for publishing content across print and digital platforms.
- Pyyrah Publication: Any magazine, website, or digital platform owned and operated by Pyyrah.
- Digital Editions: Electronic versions of Pyyrah publications compatible with various devices.
- Premium and Premium Plus Options: Advanced media formats such as interactive slideshows, video ads, and immersive experiences.
- Production Services: Design, artwork, editing, or additional creative work requested by the Advertiser.
- Publication Date: Date when print or digital content is made available to the public.
- PDF Versions: Static-format digital issues available through platforms such as Zinio.
- Submission Deadline: Deadline for receiving advertising materials for print or digital publication.
- Rates: Fees charged by Pyyrah for advertising placements, as outlined in the Rate Card.
- Rate Card: Table of Pyyrah’s advertising rates, updated periodically.
- Sales Promotions: Must comply with relevant advertising and marketing codes.
- Technical Specifications: Format and quality requirements for advertising content.
2. Rates & Costs
- Rates are exclusive of VAT and subject to change with three months’ written notice.
- Additional fees apply for Production Services, quoted separately and subject to applicable taxes.
- Pyyrah retains ownership of creative materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Content requiring reformatting for digital compatibility may incur extra charges.
- Premium and Premium Plus options are subject to individual approval and additional fees.
3. Orders
- Agents must disclose their principals and the nature of the advertisement at booking.
- The Rate Card does not constitute an offer to contract; contracts are confirmed only upon Pyyrah’s written acceptance.
- Cancellations within two months of publication are not accepted; special placements are non-cancellable.
- Requests for specific editorial placements are subject to availability.
- Advertisers must verify booking details within seven days of confirmation.
- Ads will be published across all specified formats unless an opt-out is provided.
4. Content Submission
Print Advertising
- Advertisers must submit print ads in PDF format, adhering to technical specifications.
- Pyyrah is not responsible for non-compliant submissions.
- If materials are not submitted by the deadline, Pyyrah may republish previous content.
Digital Advertising
- Digital ads must comply with Pyyrah’s technical specifications.
- Advertisers may contact Pyyrah for detailed format requirements.
- Pyyrah is not responsible for formatting issues from non-compliant submissions.
- Embedded links in digital ads will function only with an internet connection.
General
- Pyyrah is not responsible for storing advertising materials beyond six months.
- Advertisers should retain backup copies of submitted content.
5. Payment
- Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date.
- Late payments incur interest under applicable regulations.
- New advertisers must prepay for their first three placements.
6. General Conditions
- Advertisers must ensure their content complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and advertising standards.
- Pyyrah reserves the right to reject any advertisement at its discretion.
- Advertisers indemnify Pyyrah against claims arising from non-compliant or misleading ads.
- Complaints must be submitted in writing within four weeks of publication.
- Pyyrah’s liability for publishing errors is limited to the amount paid for the ad.
- Advertisers cannot resell advertising space at an increased rate without written consent.
- Advertisers must disclose promotional offer details at booking.
- Both parties must comply with data protection laws.
- These terms are governed by English law, and disputes shall be resolved in English courts.
